Glossybox Sweden May 2013

Finally picked up my Glossybox yesterday and as you all know, this will be my last one (for real this time haha)! Even though this isn’t products I’d usually be stoked about… I’m actually very satisfied with this box~
May’s theme is Magical Beauty and there’s no makeup in it (in mine at least) but products that are good for your hair and skin now that it’s summer.
Soooo let’s see what I got!

IMG_08651. Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing ConditionerIMG_0860

This product states to be everything in one: shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and styling product. It also cleans your hair without stripping it of its natural oils, strength or shine.
It sounds too good to be true, all I’m wondering is “what’s wrong?”… maybe the price. It’s 299 SEK for 480 ml (which is a lot of product). I won’t be buying it though since I’d rather spend 299 on something more fun!

2. Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps Organic Citrus Castile Liquid SoapIMG_0861

One of the finest ecological & fair trade-marked soaps for body and face from a company that’s been going for 150 years so far. It’s made from coconut-, olive-, jojoba- and hamp oil + essential oils.
It’s a very liquidy soap and it smells just like Burt’s bees lemon butter cuticle cream, it’ll be very interesting to use!
The full-size product is 99 SEK for 236 ml.

3. Puma Sync Deospray + EdTIMG_0862

Exotic and fruity smell from papaya, mandarin, orange, lotus, rose, white peach ect.
I’m actually already in love with Puma deospray’s (I’ve tried two other ones), I think they smell good and last all day so it was nice to get a little can I can take with me. I don’t use fragrances so the EdT isn’t really interesting for me but I think it was cool that the one time I get a fragrance sample (which I’ve been hoping not to get since I started subscribing), it’s also a deospray with it and not a lotion.
The full-size EdT (40ml) is 219 SEK and the deospray (150 ml) is 99 SEK.

4. Color Club Age Of Aquarius NailpolishIMG_0863

Trendsetting Color Club has existed since 1979 and they are apparently showing us this summer’s color.
Funfacts: 1. I’m an aquarius 2. I love when they name colors funny/beautiful names 3. I just coloured my hair turquoise 4. I love matching.
This nail lacquer is meant for me haha! :D It’s too bad they don’t have the name anywhere on the bottle though :c
This polish is 69 SEK/15 ml.

5. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sun Lotion SPF 15IMG_0864

A sun lotion which acts like a filter against UVA and UVB + infrared beams. It also contains nourishing botanical extract.
The lotion itself looks like the bottle (which is cool) and it smells so good (not at all like the awful smell of sunscreen). I’m really bad with using protection against the sun since I don’t get sun burned (which isn’t actually an excuse) and I really don’t like how sunscreen smells or feels on my skin. But this one might make me better with using it. I’ve also considered buying some kind of spray (don’t know which one though).
The full-size product is 109 SEK/80 ml.

g4bqwi48yxoyt9zv0bn5We also got a Femme Natural Boost energy drink but since a lot of people got an old can (their official fb-site says that they labeled the cans wrong though… which is questionable. How is that even possible?), it’s been drama over that. I’m not affected though, mine is fine till next year C:

That’s that people, my Glossybox period is over but it was fun while it lasted. I liked being a costumer until a few weeks ago. We’ll see if I’ll come back some time (for the special boxes maybe) or if new boxes will be available in Sweden! :D

I’m going to sleep over at a friend’s house today and tomorrow I got invited to a BBQ on my friends neighborhood’s island. I won’t let down The Red Lippy Project but I might fuse together day 1 & 2 if I can’t upload posts at my friend’s house! ^^ See you tomorrow or on Monday!

Glossybox Sweden: Mother’s Day box.

Good afternoon!
I got the Mother’s Day Glossybox yesterday. We have mother’s day on Sunday so that’s why (I know that the USA had it on the second Sunday of May)~
It’s a special box with 6 full-size products but one is smaller than expected. Glossybox stated in a mail that it was full-size but it’s much smaller than the promised one. There’s a pump bottle that contains the amount stated on the card… just saying.DSC_1088 I haven’t decided yet if I’ll keep mine since I’m not certain I’ll even use half the products in the box. It’s good that we’re allowed to sent the box back though and get a refund.
I’ll show you what I got but I won’t do as I usually do since I don’t feel like commenting everything! If you want to know more about the products, Google is your friend! c;

1. Becca Cosmetics Crème blush in Hyacinth DSC_1090

2. Bellápierre Cosmetics Super lip gloss in RaspberryDSC_1091

3. Emite Makeup Professional makeup sponges FlowerDSC_1096

4. MeMeMe Cosmetics Eye Inspire mono eyeshadow in FrostedDSC_1093

5. Macadamia Healing oil treatmentDSC_1094

6. Monu Professional Skincare Recovery balmDSC_1095

The only thing I want to keep is the creme blush and I’m not even sure I’m going to use it since I already have creme blushes.
This wasn’t really for me (or my mom), I was expecting the New Year’s box-feeling but this wasn’t even close :c
Oh well, I’ve seen people who is satisfied with their products and that’s great!

I’m not that hyped on Glossybox anymore but the May-box should arrive next week and that will definitely be the last Glossybox for me.
I wasn’t even planning on getting it but they took money from my account (even though I hadn’t filled in my information) and apparently they avoid the question if you ask them if you can cancel your order. Urgh.

I’ll see you next week with the last Glossybox post!

Glossybox Sweden April 2013

Good morning! My April Glossybox arrived on Thursday but I was too busy to write about it~

I’ve decided that this will be my last Glossybox for a couple of months since I’ve to save for the trip to London this summer. I won’t get student grant during the summer either so… I’ll be broooke! ;w; I really need to cut back on unnecessary things too, haha.

Anyway, April’s box is called Spring clean your beauty and I’m really happy with what I got, especially the two full-sized products!IMG_0830

1. MARIA NILA STOCKHOLM Palett Masque, Luminous Colour

IMG_0827 IMG_0828 IMG_0829This hair mask smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I can’t even describe how good it is! >w< I haven’t tried it yet but if it’s like every other product I’ve tried from Maria Nila… it’ll be awesome!
This product is full-size and costs 199 SEK/250 ml.

2. Tancan Bronze Self-Tanning SprayIMG_0832

I read self tanning spray in the car and started laughing… just no. I’m not a fan of tanning since I don’t even have to sit in the sun to get a tan! :’D
My mother will get this one, haha!
This is not a full-size product but 250 ml costs 299 SEK.

3. FÄRG Eyeshadow palette

IMG_0833 IMG_0834Färg = color in Swedish. I remember seeing these palettes in another box but I didn’t get it. I was happy then because the girl that showed her unboxing got some pretty boring colors. I was lucky enough to get colors I use often! These can be applied dry or wet (I love when you can do that).
This is a full-size product and they cost 249 SEK.

4. Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot

IMG_0835This product sounds like an eight wonder or something! “Makes pimples disappear in 24 hours”… I really hope that it keeps what it promises!
This is not a full-size product, in fact, it’s tiny… but the full-size one costs 159 SEK/15 ml.

5. Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash

IMG_0836I thought this was a The Body Shop product first (but it clearly says balance Me on the bottle)! I’m not really a fan of getting body washes in the box but it was a long time since I got one so it’s fine!
This is not full-size and 260 ml cost 105 SEK.

That was all!
Even though I said this will be the last Glossybox in a while… it’s not actually true. I’m going to unbox the “Mother’s day”-box too! So look forward to that~ It will definitely be the last one in a while though!

See ya!23ab2b9543992e0e527b1392325b549c-84077534

Swedish Glossybox March 2013 – The Red Carpet Box.

Hi ladies (and maybe some guys)!

The March box is a little late but it’s fine… it’s fine. Easter messed everything up I guess.
IMG_0780Anyway! As you can tell from the title, this box is dedicated to the red carpet look a.k.a. beauty in the moment. They’ve focused on mouth, lips and skin.
Let’s see what I got in my box! :D

1. Smile lab Advanced Teeth Whitening Strips SensitiveIMG_0791

“Take care of your smile and get white, fresh teeth! These newly launched, gentle whitening strips also give you better oral hygiene by removing bacteria and plaque.”
I’ve never used anything like this so I’m curious to try it! ^_^ There’s three strips in the card.
The original product contains 15 strips for 499 SEK.

2. Da Vinci Cosmetics Mineral Shimmer in 08 LavaIMG_0784

“This mineral eyeshadow from Da Vinci sparkles as beautiful as Mona Lisa’s smile! Wet the applicator for added intensity or use a thinner one to applicate the eyeshadow as an eyeliner.”
When I saw ColourIt‘s Glossybox, I really hoped that I would get this products because I love products you can wet  to get a more intense color (like the So Susan-palette in the December Glossybox)!
This is the original product and it costs 169 SEK.

3. Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Activate 2-in-1 Make-up Remover GelIMG_0792

“Effectively cleans your skin gently while all traces of makeup are removed. Can be used by all skin types (even sensitive) and prevents blackheads and shiny skin.”
This is a product I’m looking forward to try! ^_^ It seems perfect for teenage skin (so I’m also going to make my brother try it) and 2-in-1 products are perfect for someone like me, that breaks habits all the time.
This is the original product (200 ml) and it’s worth 85 SEK.

4. The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream + Nourishing Night CreamIMG_0794

“Lightweight day cream that hydrates and protects as well as a rich night cream that softens and nurture, an unbeatable duo for beautiful skin! The secret is the powerful antioxidant vitamin E.”
I really like The Body Shop as a company (their way of thinking is awesome)! The creams doesn’t smell amazing but I’m sure they’ll do their job.
They are not original product (only 15 ml compared to the original product’s 50 ml) but the day cream costs 129 SEK and the night cream costs 175 SEK in the store.

5. Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush in red(?)IMG_0798

“Newly launched lip blush with beeswax that gives your lips a nice color while moisturizing and softens. Apply generously and let the light texture melt on your lips.”
Never going to get tired of getting lip products in my Glossybox ❤
Jelly Pong Pong has the two bunnies-logo on their products, which means that they are cruelty free *wooh*!
This is the original product and it’s worth 129 SEK.

Skärmavbild 2013-04-04 kl. 18.37.26Me and my brother, both wearing the lip blush, haha! :D

I’m very satisfied with the March box, like everybody else it seems. I’ve seen many state that this is their best box so far. I can’t really decide though! I’ve liked almost all of them (and those I haven’t liked that much has had at least one amazing product).

One positive thing with getting the boxes late is that we won’t need to wait as long as we usually do till this month’s Glossybox! See you next time~

Maria Nila products from Glossybox!

Good afternoon, people! ^__^/

I announced on my Twitter a week ago that I was one of the first 50 to buy from GlossyBox.se’s Facebook shop and therefor would be getting two full-sized products from Maria Nila! They arrived yesterday and I was very exited~

Skärmavbild 2013-03-13 kl. 11.58.07They came in the usual outer Glossybox-box. And the products we got are Maria Nila’s finishing spray and instant shine.Skärmavbild 2013-03-13 kl. 12.03.19

The finishing spray is discribed as “a spray that keeps the hairstyle in place after drying and gives lasting hold. Easy to brush out and doesn’t leave any residue. Contains UVA-UVB filters.”
I tried it when I got home and it really does keep its promise! I sprayed my bangs upwards and to the side (and they stayed there, which is an achievement in itself), waited for the spray to be completely dry and then brushed the product out. You wouldn’t have guessed that I had had anything in my hair. I’m loving this product already! It also protects the hair from UV-light, which is really important, especially when summer comes.

On the back of the shine spray it says: “Gives hair intense shine. Can be used as a leave-in conditioner (do not rinse  product from hair) after shampooing or as a finishing product after blow-drying for shine.”
I was a little skeptical to this one before receiving the products because Glossybox described it as a product used after blow-drying and I don’t blow-dry my hair! But as it said on the back, I’ll just use it when I’ve washed my hair instead. ^_^ I haven’t tried this one yet but I need to wash my hair today so I’ll do it later!

If you received the hair oils in your February Glossybox and love the smell, these products smell the same! I would really like a dry shampoo that smells the same and after using trustful Google, I found the Maria Nila Kolorit Dry Shampoo:maria nila kolorit dry shampooIt sounds promising since it’s a dry–shampoo for colored hair and I’m planning to color mine soon but I have a question, has anyone tried this one? Is it good and does it smell like all the other products? I’m wondering this because the bottle looks different from the ones I got.

Well, that’s all I got to say~
Thank you Glossybox and Maria Nila for the products.
Looking forward to March’s Glossybox, it’s a few weeks until then through.

See you later!

Swedish Glossybox, February 2013!

It’s that time of the month again, Glossybox time! It was Valentine’s day this month so the box is different with it’s black base and fushia ribbon. DSC_0579But that’s where the Valentine’s part end (unlike the rumors that we’d only get chocolate in the box! >w<‘) . The theme this month is hair and lips. I mostly got hair-related products but since I don’t really take care of my hair, I’m fine with it. So what did I get?

DSC_0580

1. Maria Nila Stockholm Swedish Therapy Oil (intense moisture)DSC_0586

“A Swedish, nurturing hair oil with Lingonberry seed oil that contains antioxidants which protects against free radicals. It’s rapidly absorbed and makes the hair smooth and shiny without getting greasy.”
It smells very pleasent and it’ll be fun to try it out. Really hoping the “without getting greasy”-part is true!
The full-sized product is 199 SEK/50 ml. And the bottle I got is 10 ml.

2. Masty Superpac (intensive Reconstuctor and Conditioner)DSC_0587

“Masty have used ingrediens that is good for both the environment and hair for 25 years. This conditioner strenghten damaged hair with rice protein (among other things). Your hair gets stronger, soft and shiny without getting heavy.”
The conditioner smells really sweet, I like it~ I have “damaged hair” checked on my beauty profile because I’ve bleached my hair several times and also because my mother’s hair is very worn. I don’t really use conditioner so my mother will get this one.
The full-sized bottle is 119 SEK/236 ml. And the bottle I got is 59 ml.

3. Modelco Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner in nude.DSC_0589 DSC_0588

“Make the perfect pout and the illusion of fuller lips. Wax along with cacao- and shea butter protects your lips. Apply lightly on your lip-line. Has a built-in sharpener.”
It’s cool that its nude because I can’t recall seeing a nude lip liner before (usually they’re pink or red). I told my friend yesterday that I don’t use lipstick anymore because I don’t have a lip liner… and I got one (same with the eyeliner in last month’s Glossybox)!
This is the full-sized product and it’s 195 SEK if I were to buy it.

4. Batiste Dry Shampoo OriginalDSC_0590

“A classic and “best in test-winner” that gives you a newly washed-feel to your hair, perfect to refresh your hair between washes. Apply to your roots for instant refreshing and volume.”
I am a fan of dry shampoo’s but the smell of this particular one isn’t great. I know what they have one that smells like cherry so that’s one I want to try! But I’m sure they have other great scents, anyone that has a favorite?
Full-sized product is 69 SEK/200 ml. And the bottle I got is 50 ml.

5. Modelco Cheek + Lip Tint in Rose RedDSC_0591

“Get the perfect “natural rosy cheeks and nice colored lips”-illusion that lasts long. Dab a small amount of the Gel formula on your cheeks and lips”
Since this one was a success in the New Year’s Glossybox, they put it in this one too. Therefor I got two now. I don’t mind though! I love lip tints and this one is so expensive that I don’t mind having a backup!
This is the full-sized product and it costs 155 SEK/10 ml.

Bonus.DSC_0593

The bonus in this Glossybox is a “get 100 SEK off if you buy things for atleast 500 SEK”-code at Zalando… not anything I can use this month since I’m going to Edinburgh on the 18th!

That was all folks~ I’m satisfied with what I got in my box and I’m looking forward to the next one!
If you’re subscribed to a beauty box and has written/talked about this month’s  box, please let me know. I’d love to know what’s in other people’s boxes (both internationally and Swedish)! Until next time, bye~

Preview of February Glossybox!

I got an email from Glossybox today, revealing this month’s Swedish Glossybox! Appearance only of course:

Skärmavbild 2013-02-06 kl. 23.00.10It’s special because of Valentine’s day, I love the colors and bow! Last month was the usual pale pink box and I already have one of those so it’s really nice to get another “special” looking box!

Since I’ve only received Glossyboxes for three months, I’m not familiar with the previous ones but I hope that there will be more custom ones than pale!

// Nyancy

Glossybox Sweden, January 2013.

The anticipated, first Glossybox of 2013 is here! It feels like forever since the last one because we received it before Christmas.

The theme of this month is “Functional beauty”.

DSC_0111
DSC_0112DSC_0113

Victoria, Glossybox Beauty director says that she got inspired by design and architecture. The products featured will allow you to bring out and enhance your beauty! That’s pretty much what it says on the card~
A physical copy of Glossymag was on top of the box when I opened it. Even though I don’t really like trends… the ones featured in the magazine are right up my ally! E.g. “Powerlips”, “Glitter and Glam” and “Lashes de luxe”. The rest I don’t really like… at all (on myself) so ponytails and ballerina buns, I’ll leave to the rest of the beautiful people.

So let’s start with what I got in my box!

1. BERT’S BEES Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

DSC_0114

100% natural cuticle cream from Bert’s Bees in a tiny tin. Smells wonderfully of lemon and has the same color as lemon curd. The product strenghten and moisturises your nails and cuticles. The product is 8.5 g/0.3 oz. which is half the original product on 17 g. for 79 SEK.

DSC_0116I have not owned a cuticle cream before so I’m exited to try it since my cuticles during winter always get sore and crack. The smell is also very pleasant so I’m looking forward to using this before going to bed!

2. PERCY & REED No-Fuss Fabulousness Dry Conditioner

DSC_0115I’m a fan of dry shampoo so I will probably like this product! The packaging is really cute and the matt, cream color make me think a little vintage and luxury. A interview with the duo, Adam Reed and Paul Percival can be found in Glossymag where the interviewer says that they, as innovative as they are, came up with dry conditioner!

This little 50 ml can is the full-sized product and is worth 129 SEK.

3. Illamasqua Cream Pigment

DSC_0117

“This intensely colour-rich, matt and crease-resistant formula has been designed for use on the face, eyes, lips and body. Apply with an Illamasqua brush or simply use your fingers for a buildable, water-resistant, highly pigmented finish.” -from Illamasqua’s site.

I was so exited when I saw an Illamasqua-product! I’ve been wanting to buy something in forever and their sale that ended today might’ve been a golden opportunity but I have to prioritize other things unfortunately.

DSC_0118I got the lilac color Dab. It’s a bit pale for me but since the formula is discribes as absolutely amazing (water-resistant, matt, buildable, crease-resistant ect.), I’m going to use it as a base under the eyeshadow I want to wear!

This is of course the full-sized product and costs 179 SEK.

4. Elite Models Intensity Eye Pencil

DSC_0120A waterproofed and extremely lasting eyeliner. It’s creamy and soft which makes it easy to apply. Contain shea butter and vitamin E.

I’m really happy that I got this product because my eyeliner has been running on empty for quite a while now! It’s jet black but has beautiful glitter in it so I’ll have to buy a new one anyway ( I need a plain black one when I’m doing my project). This black with sparkles is called Secret Grey 02. It’s full sized and costs 109 sek.

5. Oliva By CCS Eco Makeup Remover Wipes

DSC_0122Gentle and effective makeup remover wipes containing organic olive oil and olive leaf-extract which will soften and moisturise.

Only used makeup remover wipes one time but I think that the consept is great since its organic and I feel like wipes are less messy than using cleansing lotion and cotton buds. The wipes smell pretty pleasant… I’m not a fan of the way olive oil smells so that should tell you something!

This is an original product and is worth 50 SEK.

I’m very satisfied with the products that I got since I’ve gotten a lot of things I haven’t tried and things I need! I’m very annoyed with the people complaining on the Glossybox.se-facebook page. They say that they’ve gotten a box of low quality products and not what the Glossybox-site promises!

1. You received a box with 5 beauty products (just as they promise). Even if you get toothpaste, that is a beauty product (if it whitens your teeth). Since I read that someone got it and was disappointed and I don’t know any details but I would asume that it whitens your teeth.

2. They tell you that you will receive samples to discover new products. Now if you’ve read through all the products I got, 4 out of 5 are full-sized. I don’t know about you but I’m very grateful.

3. If you notice that you aren’t satisfied, send them an email or something! No one (except your fellow complainers) is going to want to hear that you are suuuper disappointed and that Glossybox should shape up since you wanted that product and not the one you got! They use your beauty profile to decide what box you’ll get so do something about your profile! You can always switch with someone else on the page (seen it happen) if anything else.

Phew. Now that’s out of my system (almost).
Hope you enjoyed the post! See you tomorrow~ I have to sleep now.

Lucky no. 30… or 19? (BIRTHDAY POST)

Today must me my lucky day! Crazy since it’s my birthday too~

I got both Glossybox and Sheslookingatthestars budget beauty swap-package! (Both will get a separate post, of course.)

DSC_0102
Skärmavbild 2013-01-30 kl. 19.26.46

Preview of the swap-package~

Over all it’s been a really good day!

I got red tulips and money from my mom today. But she also payed for my Glossybox and bought me this lamp ❤

DSC_0048 DSC_0049They are looking at me and my desk... QwQ

I saw this lamp in a store for a discounted price and my mom asked if I wanted it as a birthday gift! It feels like wood (but I’m pretty sure it’s not) and the lampshade is dark green. They had a lot of lamps in similar style but they were horses, statues ect. They were really cool but I decided to go with the kittens!

My grandmother also gave me money (and the birthday-call ❤). Which is well needed! They will be saved to the trip to Scotland. We got some more information about the trip today so I’ll make a separate post on that too! (I have quite an amount of writing to do haha)

My brother sold some games he didn’t want to keep and with the points, he’s going to get me two games I want. QwQ So happy!

At last, I got myself Professor Layton and the curious village! I’ve been waiting to play it for forever and now it’s on its way~

I just had my “birthday cake”! Tea-time with a pastry that mommy bought.

DSC_0109I’ll make the real cake on Friday, the day before my party!

Swedish Glossybox: Golden New Year!

Happy end of the world-day guys! Thought that I would celebrate by writing this Glossybox post! ;D I received this one at the same time as the December box. I was so exited (and with a good reason), five full sized products worth over 1000 SEK and I payed (or my mother payed) 229 SEK! It is a perfect Christmas gift~ Wouldn’t have gotten it without my mom. I’m truly grateful! ;w; Let’s begin the unboxing!

IMG_0417It’s of course a gold box .IMG_0420The style is different from the usual ones. You can’t take of the lid, instead there’s magnets that closes the box. The card is in another style, you’ve got a glittery black ribbon (which is fabulous!) and the box is slightly bigger.

Now to the products:

1. BM Beauty Lash Thickening Mascara IMG_0435 IMG_0439 Bild 2012-12-21 kl. 17.55

BM Beauty’s Lash Thickening Mascara is a popular mineral mascara without parabens. According to the card it also both strengthens your lashes and protects them. When I first tried it, I didn’t really like it. It didn’t feel like it did anything but I applied it on top of a coat of my usual mascara and the wand is really thick so it couldn’t grab onto my lashes. Using this one as a first coat and then build with another mascara is the way to go!

The product is worth 179 SEK and contains 8 ml.

2. Kryolan Professional Make-up High Gloss

IMG_0432Bild 2012-12-21 kl. 18.55This gloss is a very opaque dark red and it’s called Catwalk. I love the design, it smells like strawberries and the color is amazing. The formula is sooo sticky but when it’s on your lips it doesn’t feel like your lips are sticking together. Which surprised me considering the stickiness. It’s also super shiny and according to the card, it’s because of the pearl pigments in it!

The product is worth 139 SEK and contains 4 ml.

3. Nails Inc. Nail Polish

IMG_0441Liquid silver. That’s what this product is. It’s both shiny and sparkly and all the colors are named after classic locations in London, this one is Cambridge Terrace! It’s easy to put on and two coats are very opaque while one coat gives you the glitter and shine with the hint of your own nail under. I want more colors already!

The product is worth 149 SEK and contains 10 ml.

4. NYX Cosmetics One Night in Marocco

IMG_0426 IMG_0428A really handy palette consisting of 8 eyeshadows (4 slightly glittery and 4 matt ones), eyeshadow base and four discrete lip colors! The Lip colors look really dark here but not in reality. The right ones isn’t that brown either. They also claim that the eyeshadow will last all night with the primer. I haven’t used this one yet but I’ll try it the first chance I get!

This is the most expensive product in the box. It’s worth 390 SEK.

5. ModelCo Cheek + Lip Tint

IMG_0430This was the most exiting thing when I first opened the box. I’ve wanted to try a lip tint since a year back. And finally (+ totally unexpected) I got to try it. It’s small but it does make a difference! I’ve only used it on my lips (in the Santa Devil-look) but next time I put on blush I’ll put this one on instead~ As a last thing, I noticed that it smells really good too! Like berries.

The product is worth 155 SEK for 10 ml.

IMG_0423

I forgot to take a proper picture but do you see the gold thing under the products? x’3 Well it’s the bonus in this box! It’s a pretty vanity case!Bild 2012-12-21 kl. 20.15 Bild 2012-12-21 kl. 20.15 #2Took some pictures now, haha. All the things are in it and it’s not over-stuffed. Perfect.

That was all folks! Everyone that ordered this box got the same thing so if you’ve seen this post you’ve seen them all. ;D

I hope that it was helpful and a nice read. No more Glossybox posts until the end of next month! Bye, bye~

Swedish Glossybox December!

Hi guys, I felt that I couldn’t postpone this post any longer even though I haven’t made an video yet (I’ll make it when I can).

This month’s theme is “Glossy Anniversary” because Glossybox Sweden has existed in a year now. To celebrate they have products that are from brands that people have liked though-out the year. It’s exiting to see, especially since I have received only one box before this one! ^_^ Let’s start!

IMG_0393The box is silver and my box is really scratched. I have no idea what it went through but I’m glad it’s not me C; IMG_0395The usual card, grey ribbon, black tissue-paper with silverstars and a sticker with an art-deco diamond.

Let’s start with the products:

1. La Sultane de Saba Ginger Green Tea Body Lotion

La sultane de Saba is a company from France that makes products inspired by oriental beauty rituals. This luxury lotion contains green tea and ginger. It has a light formula that the skin picks up fast. The bottle I got is 40 ml. and the full-sized product is 150 ml and costs 269 sek in Sweden. What I’ve picked up so far is that it has a very citrusy smell to it and that it isn’t sticky to your hands and gets absorbed really quick. I like scents that smell sweet and rich so this isn’t really something for me. It makes me think of dish soap. The formula is really great though! C:

2. Anatomicals The Showering inferno Hot And Fiery B-Movie Body Cleanser

IMG_0402This is the product that made the Glossybox smell good (just like the Aquolina body mousse in the previous box). Not noticeably if you didn’t think about it though. I only realized later haha! This is the yummiest shower gel I’ve ever smelled, it smells just like Coke! It seems like it gets quite a lot of praise and according to the GB card, it says that it’s one of the most appreciated brands during the year. The product I got is 150 ml. and the full-sized one is 300 ml. for 79 sek.

3. So Susan Micronized 8-Hour Eye Shadow Palette

IMG_0404IMG_0406This is a tiny eyeshadow palette that contains a highlighter, base and conture. So Susan is a newly launched brand and is cruelty-free (says so on the backside with two bunnies as proof! ;D). I’ve actually used this one and it stayed on the whole day. It’s really smooth to the touch and very pigmented. It’s the original product and it costs 129 sek.

4. Zoya nailpolish in Storm

IMG_0408Never tried a Zoya polish before and I had watched SimpleLittlePleasures on Youtube the day before so I was exited to try it. This color is called Storm and the first thing I thought when I saw the color was that it is similar to the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength polish in Black diamond. Now in retrospect the Sally Hansen one looks a little more grayish and the glitter in Storm looks bigger. Zoya also dries quicker. This is also a full-sized product and costs 149 sek. for 15 ml. I really like this product and would like to buy it in some other color!

5. ImPRESS fake nails

IMG_0411This product was the first thing I saw, it was peeking though the tissue paper so I pulled it out. I’ve heard Bunny (Grav3yardgirl on YT) talking about these type of press-on’s before but I’ve never tried them! The color is gorgeous but I can’t find the name anywhere! :c Looking through the tiny pamphlet I guess that it it “Message Me” but I’m not 100 % sure. Also worth mentioning is the variation of designs and colors! 24 designs are listed but it says that you can see all 36 styles on their website impressmanicure.com. They have plain ones, animal-inspired ones and flower ones ect. I will most likely make a review on these! I’m a little afraid of putting them on though. Just trying them on without taking of the plastic gives me the impression that they are huge! (Thinking about it… that was not intended as a pun haha!) They are really long and wide. xD I will try them on Christmas Eve anyway! ^_^

EDIT. I almost forgot! You also got a ‘little’ bonus in the box, that I’m really exited about! It’s a ViaPlay trial during two months. :D ViaPlay is a site you can stream movies, sport and tv-series on…it’s a less awesome Netflix. From what I’ve heard they don’t have that much in their movie/archive and are slow with updating movies. Still exited to activate my code! x3

So that was this month’s Glossybox. I hope you enjoyed! :D The Golden New Year Glossybox that I received simultaneously will also get a post but I will post it tomorrow! It’s getting late and I’m looking forward to some reading.

Good night guys and I’ll see you tomorrow!

I was too exited :c

I wrote this yesterday: Skärmavbild 2012-12-18 kl. 19.18.23Guess what? I got both Glossyboxes today and I couldn’t wait! >w<‘ I opened both… AND MY GOD, I’M DYING. The products are simply amazing! I’m not posting a Swedish Glossybox unboxing today because I want to make the videos first. I think that I’ll record in front of my Christmas tree. *w* I might be able to shoot them tomorrow morning because I start pretty late but if not, I’ll do it on Thursday!

Speaking of tomorrow, my holiday starts after the general ending ceremony and the class good-bye. :D I was so exhausted today that I didn’t even celebrate the last lesson for this year… which is a shame really. :< If I’d just slept a few more hours last night, maybe today wouldn’t have been so… unbearable. :c

Oh well, what’s done is done!

I’m going to continue watching some program about Christmas decorating now. See you tomorrow guys! :D

Swedish GLOSSYBOX

Yeep that’s right, I’m getting a Glossybox for the first time ever at the end of November! So exited~

Oktober’s theme was ‘Beauty of a Geisha’ and the products looked nice (I’ve watched a few unboxings) so a little sad that I missed it but the thing that I really wanted (Aussie 3 minute miracle), I’m getting full sized on December 9th anyways because of the sale on KICKS.

Here are all the products that you could’ve gotten last month.

So with the Swedish Glossybox you get five samples. I’ve seen unboxings from both the US and England and they’ve got a lot of different type of boxes and price ranges but unfortunately we only (what I know) have one :c A little boring but yeah, what can you do? =w= It’ll still be fun to see what I get and what theme it is this month.

See you tomorrow!
