Last Saturday was a handful. I went to bed really late and then woke up at 9 to wait for my mom to wake up so we could take my poor baby to the vet. He had an infected wound under his right eye. :c
We had to wait for 1.5 h. because other cats had worse symptoms but when we finally came in everything went super fast. The woman cleaning Tora’s wound said that he was the nicest cat all week.
*Proud cat mama*
Then we drove home, picked up my brother, bought bus cards, left-the-car-at-Volvo’s-parking-lot-so-my-dad-could-drive-home-after-work and finally: me, mom and Nico took the bus in to the city.We were at the book fair for about an hour and I got a few comic albums and a book. I missed the Elvis signing (still got the new book) but met Lise Myhre and got the 10th Nemi album signed. It was both awesome and (I was) very embarrassing.
First I didn’t know what to ask her to write as a special message… so I just mumbled out “o-oh just write To Nancy” and when she asked which character I wanted her to draw, I didn’t hear what she said so I said “I don’t know, you chose”… uh (really, me, really??!)… *facepalm*. She drew Cyan for me though and it was awesome!
I shouldn’t meet people I admire. I’m just too akward. T_T
Here’s the stuff I got:
I’ll end this post with some pictures from when we were waited outside the Swedish exhibition & congress centre (where the book fair is held) afterwards :3
We looked through the English fudge flavors but we didn’t find anything that was really tempting… besides I don’t really like fudge, the consistency is too floury (like overdone potatoes). xD
I recieved my Evangelion tumbler before the weekend, I’ll post it later today/tomorrow! ^^
I’ve ordered some things that are on their way and since it’s going to take a few weeks until they get here so I thought why not tease you a little~ c:
♥ A few weeks ago I made an order with a preorder item at Jbox. I didn’t think that they would charge for it directly so I hadn’t transferred the money and that resulted in a 10-day-delay until I told them to go through with the order.
The main order contains *dun-dun-dun* Puccho (in a few different flavors) and Pokemon things (one is candy)! Can’t wait until it gets here! The ones I’ve bought doesn’t look like the one’s in this picture though.
The preorder item is an Evangelion tumbler. I like tumblers and these looked cool so I thought why not. I haven’t seen You Are (Not) Alone yet but I will when I get the chance! Can you guess which one I chose?
♥ From Asos I’ve ordered a mini-pack of nail polish from OPI. Me and my mom will spit the cost because we will share them. All autumny colors~
The first one I’ll try will be Peace & Love & OPI. It looks gorgeous!
KH 1.5 HD Remix releases this week but I ordered it from a site that doesn’t really care if you get it on the release date so I’ll probably get it next week.
I’ve also paid to get two numbers of two of my favorite comics (that sentence, hope you get it haha) really cheap.
That’s it for this month if I want to buy stuff at the book fair (which I do)! >w<
I packed last night and everything went fine~ My cabin bag weighs 5.05 KG which is just fine (10 is the limit and if I have to, I’ll just put on loads of clothes on the way back home). I bought a bag weigher yesterday so I wouldn’t be in doubt. >w<‘ Worth it… would be so nervous otherwise!
Except for the bag weigher I also bought a rain poncho and super-cheap temporary head phones (because I seriously need music on the flight… and just in general).
I should eat my yummy breakfast now~(Two toasted sandwiches, GOD MORGON orange juice with juicy bits *mmm* and a Peach / Passionfruit yoghurt drink.)
While reading the new Nemi comic! :D
I won’t blog on the trip *never say never though* but look out for the occasional tweet here and there *connection is the key haha*! ^_^
My day… was a real roller coaster. No memory card. Lovisa was late. I was hungry. I saw the longest book fair line ever. Then Lovisa arrived, we bought food and ultimately bought a ticket each to the fair. c:
The book fair in Gothenburg is held at “Svenska mässan”.
Pretty, pretty building~
Lovisa feeling like an elf with her mothers sweater and santa’s hat :D
Haha ❤ In one booth we played a game called “brain ball”.
We put on straps with sensors on our foreheads and then the one with the least brain-activity won… and that would be me!
The ball in the middle rolled to the one with the most on it’s mind hehe
An armchair made of paperbacks!
What I brought home:
☆ Nemi book no. 9 from the publisher Kartago.
☆ “Askungar” by Kristina Ohlsson, “Monster” by Micael Dahlen and “Låt de gamla drömmarna dö” by John Ajvide Lindqvist from the bookstore chain Bokia.
☆ Elvis “Tillsammans sedan 2000” from the publisher Egmont kärnan.
I’m satisfied with today and now I’m sleepy as hell so… TIME TO GO TO BED! ;w;
