Shrek’s Adventure (+ Shrek haul) & Namco Funscape in London

Hi guys!

Here are the pictures we took in Shrek’s adventure, what I bought there (Shrek’s adventure haul) and also Namco Funscape pictures as a bonus! 😁 This isn’t a review, there’s plenty of them out there but Ari and I had super fun while we were there!

It’s Christmas time so Donkey outside was a reindeer (like me!) 😊

So much fun 😭 And I’m so happy I could do this with my best friend 💙✨💖

These are the things I bought:

The DreamWorks Tours London Travel Journal, I’ve included pictures of everything in it! It was £20 and for an extra £5 you got a ogre green keyring and magnet to put the small pictures they included and an extra photo which was the how to train your dragon one!

This mug cost £10 and I got one for my brother too! It has union jack on the handle and Fiona & Gingy on one side, Shrek &  and Donkey driving 😂 It’s a very pretty souvenir!

Next I got a tumbler with Gingy on it 😭 It’s red with a layer of gummy beads before the actual cup inside! It’s huge and heavy and fragile… I’ve already made two cracks in it 😢 This one was £6. 

Lastly I had to get these: Fiona ears, that light up! I love getting headbands from amusement parks and whatnot so these felt like a must 😁 They have different settings on the lights, the ears either glow, blink or have a gradient on and off light. I like the last setting the most!  

After Shrek’s Adventure we went into Namco Funscape, it wasn’t as exiting as we thought it would be but it wasn’t crowded and we played a little claw machine because there were some stuffed toys we haven’t seen before so it was still fun and nice to see the place!

Last picture I took that day! Rest is footage but we made it to Oxford street, we shopped and then we had to walk all the way to London Viktoria in the rain. It felt very miserable but in hindsight it wasn’t too bad 😆 We didn’t die haha 😅

London Day 1

Pre-adventure, bare faced & exited!

We were really early at the airport, an hour before the bagage drop opened so we got some wintery goodness @ Espresso house. I got the Winter frapino cream and Ari had the “tomtelatte”. It was super delicious! 😊

The clouds were laying really thick over Gothenburg but as soon as we ascended this is what we saw, the blazing sun.

Bam! We did our makeup on the plane, a two our flight is plenty of time 😁

First thing we had to do when we arrived at London Victoria: eat. The food tasted so good, the service… was creepy 😒 The guy behind the counter hit on us in a way that was beyond awkward 😩 We talked about it on the vlog we made so when I’ve uploaded it to YT I’m going to post it at the end!

Basically the only part of London we saw on day 1 but the buildings are very beautiful.

Incredibly boring picture but this was our hotel room, cheap and basic, just like us 😘✌🏽 I jokingly said “I call the big bed” and Ari thought I was serious so I rolled with it 😂 #truebestfriends She complained about the smell of the walls so she got some payback by nagging me to sleep 💞

Post London

Good evening!

We came back from London today💕 I’ve slept a little less than 4 hours and I am exhausted but in the attempt to not flip the day (I have no idea to say the Swedish expression “vända på dygnet”) I’ve stayed awake until now (22.02).

Since I got home I’ve wrapped all the presents I bought, eaten a bit and caught up on my Youtube feed/watched movies 😌 Very relaxing after all the walking we did yesterday.

I have sooo many pictures to show you though… might start right after this (if my eyes doesn’t fail me or my head hurts too much)! I also have a lot of vlog-footage to edit but that will have to wait until I have some free time >w<

This is just a mini update but I’ll upload day based posts soon!

London to do-list.

London, a city neither Ari or I have ever been to. We’ve talked about going since our second year in high school and it hasn’t happened until now. Probably because the money we got from CSN (the central study authority) wasn’t much and it all went to food and a game every month 😂 (It feels good to be slightly older.)

So what are we prioritizing for our first time there? Here’s the list of what we’ve planned to do:

• Shrek’s Adventure I’ve already talked about this on my last post so that’s why it’s on top of this one! Shrek’s adventure is a themed attraction and if I’ve understood it right it’s a live show with different elements and we’ll be able to buy a travel book with our pictures in it when it’s over + there’s a few rooms themed with popular dream works where you can take your own pictures and then a gift shop! (hella exited over this one)

• Namco FunscapeAri and I are both reeeaally exited to go here. It seems to be an arcade hall but with bumber cars and bowling alleys… so a small amusement park indoors (my fave)? 😱💕

• Shopping on Oxfordstreet I’ve heard the name Oxford street in the past but looking through google maps (yeah I know… I want to be able to have a sense of location when I’m there haha) I found everything I want to check out! Superdrug☆, Boots, Disney store & Primark are the main ones but there’s lots of other stores so hopefully we’ll manage to get to those too!

• Last but not least… all the sightsSince it’s our first time visiting, we have to of course see Big Ben, London Eye & Buckingham palace but I don’t think we’ll purposely seek out all of them because it feels like they’re just there but we’ll see 😁

How did I get here agaaain?

Hello! So… it’s been a while 😂

Two years and 20 days is quite some time!

I can’t remember why I randomly wanted to log onto this page again (even though I just did haha) but I’m considering using this blog again!

I’m doing this because I really want to be able to look back to specific days and see what I did that day (aka as a diary). I don’t really use Facebook for that purpose anymore because it’s so dull and I’m more active on Instagram if anything and there you can’t see which dates you upload stuff, just how many weeks it’s been 😞

So since I stopped writing here, I’ve graduated from high school and I got accepted to university and is studying to become a pre-school teacher. I’m not very good at studying so it’s tough but I’m looking forward to my future profession. It’s almost been a year now (in January) since I started and it feels like less but at the same time like it’s been a very long time. I feel like that about a lot of stuff in life: being a kid seems like so long ago yet not and being in high school also feels like yesterday but still not 😵

Anyway more recent news! This summer we went on a roadtrip in Europe, we went through Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium+Luxemburg (on the way home only). Very exiting (but exhausting), I probably won’t upload those pictures because they feel like the past. I’ll start just to upload stuff when something exiting happens!

It’s a “weekend” trip but we’re going Wednesday-Friday. There’s no actual school so we took the chance. We were actually planning to go in the beginning of next year but when I booked the plane tickets I chose the December dates and Ari didn’t ask me about it so when we were in check out I noticed and she told me that she thought I meant to do it 😂 I checked my schedule then and there and we went for it! I’m so exited and I’ve been planning like crazy haha, I get really obsessed when I put my mind into fun stuff.

Since we have a very limited time (only one whole day) and budget, we’ve only booked one tourist attraction and that is Shrek’s Adventure!

I didn’t even know about it until a Youtuber I’m subscribed to uploaded a video of her going there but now I’m so stoked 😭💖 I don’t know much about the actual 4D ride but the different rooms with a lot of characters afterwards and gift shop looks like a dream! 😲

I’m so exited, I really don’t want to wait five more days but I have an essay due the day before we leave so it’s good that there’s time!

Time to wrap this thing up! But I’m just going to tell you about an idea I just got for uploading… I think I want to upload an weekly “what have I uploaded to Instagram” *w* It kinda sounds like a good idea but if I realize it’s stupid or something I’m just going to stop haha.

I don’t know if anyone’s gonna read this but if you did, thank you💕 (and if “you” is me… then you get no price but that’s the least you can do!)

Recent purchases!

You guys already know that I got a new 3DS XL case but I’ve also gotten a few other things – both in the mail and store-bought, that I haven’t shown you… because I’ve become really lazy with blogging C’:

Last Friday I got my preordered Seether 2002-2013! I ordered the t-shirt bundle even though I would’ve loved the shot glasses too. Shipping from the US is just too darn expensive. :c
 On Sunday my mom dragged me out to breakfast and after that I bought a Mickey t-shirt and two pairs of leggins. They are all really cozy and comfortable. :3
 When my mom came home yesterday I got my Paranorman + Coraline BluRay :D I ordered it for Halloween and it came a bit late but whatever~ Me and my brother watched Coraline first, which I’ve already seen and it’s magical. And now we’re seeing Paranorman (which I’ve never seen before), it’s hilarious and I love it!

 

The t-shirt(s ⬆⬇) is really big and comfy! I actually tweeted the picture above and Seether’s twitter account answered and retweeted it *I was a happy fangirl at that moment haha*I’m writing this pretty late and I don’t like to put up stuff in the evening so that’s why I scheduled it to publish in the morning… when I’m sleeping ehehe~ I’m trying to not spend too much money this month but I’ll definitely get Professor Layton and the Azran legacies! :D But that’s it *hnnn… hopefully, me and budgets don’t go together*.

Nintendo 3DS XL silicone case – Pokemon Yveltal

When I got my pay I decided that I’m finally going to get a new case for my 3DS. The first one I had broke a few months ago. It was a red flip n’ play and I had it almost as long as I’ve had my hand-held (which I bought on the 3DS XL release day). :c

I originally wanted to buy a Animal Crossing case but realized that they are all see-through so it wouldn’t look nice with my red 3DS as the background. The Yveltal case I laid my eyes on was perfect though! It’s also see-through and the details (Yveltal, name and framing) are in gold.

I ordered it from Ebay and the seller lifesize777. He is really nice, very polite and helpful! It took less than 24 h. after I had made my order before he had shipped it off. Ö_Öb 

I got it on the 30th (5 days after making the order). Wrapped in bubble plastic and encased in newspaper.I got two stickers as a bonus! :D And while lifting out the newspaper from the bottom I noticed this little folded note:Best seller EVER. I really do recommend him!

So what does the case look like?

Tadaa! It’s so pretty~ The case changes the color of the system slightly.
It also has a protective back-side but there’s nothing on it (and that’s why I didn’t bother taking a picture haha).I took off everything I had hanging and exchanged them for the things I have on the picture.

I’m so happy and now I don’t have to worry about my 3DS getting all scratched up anymore~

Happy Halloween!

It’s finally Halloween! :D I celebrated with my friends last weekend so today I’m going to play AC:NL to get some Creepy furniture and Pumpkin heads! Halloween in NL starts in an hour for me~

When we were at the super market today I bough a Scooby-Do Egg and lollipop c: And somehow we bought a Halloween cake!

The rest of the evening I’m going to play some games and watch horror movies with my brother. He also wants to see The phantom of the opera because I told him that his mask reminded me of the phantom (he hasn’t seen it).

Autumn signs.

They are really starting to show~ So pretty!

Today has been great. I woke up 10 minutes before the electricity came back on (the black-out lasted 5 hours) so I didn’t have to wait long before I could use the computer to search something that had been nagging me!
Then we drove to the supermarket and I found my new (fully enjoyable) favorite dark chocolate. I’m not a real fan of dark chocolate but this one is perfect!

Yummy!

I also bought Nemi issue 5 and a package of cream brulée mix. But the main reason we went there was to buy ingredients to make tacos (we haven’t made it in months). :D So we came home, prepared everything and ate *mm-m*.

Now some AC:NL talk! >w<

I decided that I don’t have enough willpower to water all my flowers everyday in AC:NL so I changed my town ordinance from Night-Owl to a Beautiful Town!

I’m pretty sure I’ll miss the late-night visits to Timmy/Tommy but hey, I survived before I could establish ordinances so it’s cool.

I’ll finally get the T&T Emporium tomorrow! I didn’t get my first visit from Gracie until just five weeks ago ;_; And I had had the T.I.Y. for a month or so before she came uhh.
I also got my first villager’s picture today! xD And it’s Chief’s. I’m so happy! I started to think that they hated me. I do stuff for them all the time but I hadn’t gotten a single one…

Oh and I need some advice! Should I let Twiggy move in? °_° I’ve been hesitant to let anyone else move in since Goldie. She moved in RIGHT in front of my house. I don’t want to be stuck with someone who’s annoying/ moves in on a bad place/on my hybrids!I know that I can semi-decide where a new villager moves in through making a new character but if someone I really want camps in my town I won’t be able to invite them to stay if I tell Twiggy to stay :c
I will probably let her go haha.

My almost as new-tooth!

My dentist advanced my appointment to today instead of Friday, so now my front tooth is whole again! :D

My front tooth (upper, to the right) got all worn down from me sleeping on my belly and turning my head all night.
I didn’t realize my sleeping position did this until my dentist told me to move my jaw from side to side and the tooth fit perfectly between these teeth: ! D: It was really disturbing to see and now I have promised her to not sleep like that anymore >w< So far I’ve done good but to be on the safe side, I’m going to get an occlusal sprint so she made some dental impressions today. I’m coming back in two weeks to pick them up.

I hit my nose on the laptop while taking this photo… :c I saw the laptop falling but didn’t see the distance correctly! Ouch…
On a side-note, these j-list glasses are a lot of fun!

Last Saturday (vet and book fair).

Last Saturday was a handful. I went to bed really late and then woke up at 9 to wait for my mom to wake up so we could take my poor baby to the vet. He had an infected wound under his right eye. :c
We had to wait for 1.5 h. because other cats had worse symptoms but when we finally came in everything went super fast. The woman cleaning Tora’s wound said that he was the nicest cat all week.

Then we drove home, picked up my brother, bought bus cards, left-the-car-at-Volvo’s-parking-lot-so-my-dad-could-drive-home-after-work and finally: me, mom and Nico took the bus in to the city.We were at the book fair for about an hour and I got a few comic albums and a book. I missed the Elvis signing (still got the new book) but met Lise Myhre and got the 10th Nemi album signed. It was both awesome and (I was) very embarrassing.

First I didn’t know what to ask her to write as a special message… so I just mumbled out “o-oh just write To Nancy” and when she asked which character I wanted her to draw, I didn’t hear what she said so I said “I don’t know, you chose”… uh (really, me, really??!)… *facepalm*. She drew Cyan for me though and it was awesome!
I shouldn’t meet people I admire. I’m just too akward. T_T

We looked through the English fudge flavors but we didn’t find anything that was really tempting… besides I don’t really like fudge, the consistency is too floury (like overdone potatoes). xD
